The Purcell CP is NOT the old Jack Purcell... ...it's better.
Classic Jack outside, updated comfy inside. Removable foam
insole, not the old attached insole with the weirdly placed
arch. Also a nice soft lining and sole is less stiff than the
old Jack. Expensive for a canvas shoe, but the only "classic
sneaker" I know that's as comfy as a "modern" athletic shoe.
Not for retro purists who dig discomfort (or skaters who need
thin soles for board feel). Excellent Old Skool Shoe! These
shoes are more comfortable than the regular Jack Purcell�s.
More arch support and padding on the tongue. I wore them all
day right out of the box and had no problem with them. They
run REALLY big, so get about 1 and 1/2 sizes smaller than your
regular shoe size. These shoes are the surfer shoe of choice
of the 1950's, but way more comfortable. |
